Traditionally the Quaich, which originated in the Scottish Highlands, was used as both a Cup of Welcome and also when offering a farewell drink.

A terrific way to share a toast for Christmas, New year, Burns Night on the 25th January or for a married couple to celebrate their Wedding Day.

This beautifully made quaich is 2.5 inches in diameter and makes a perfect Scottish Gift.

Comes with a silk lined presentation box.

This beautiful pewter Quaich features a plain highly polished bowl which contrasts wonderfully with the ornate Celtic Knot style handles and Celtic banding around the circumference of the bowl. The history of the Quaich dates back centuries and is commonly known as the Scottish "Cup Of Welcome", whereby visitors would be welcomed with whisky and drink from each side of the bowl. Today it is used as a commemorative gift for weddings, christenings and a whole host of celebrations, particularly for those with Scottish heritage. Perfect for the addition of a personalised message through any High Streret Shop offering this service, if you require.

This particular bowl measures 2.5" or 63mm in diameter (excluding handles).

Each quaich is elegantly supplied in a silk lined presentation box.
